BOXES
A series of constructions called “Landscape Memory Boxes” use landscape as their subject matter. The pedestals of the free- standing boxes are an integral part of the piece. Elements of nature such as stones and branches, as well as mirrors, and magnifying glasses draw the viewer in, and incorporate the observer as part of the work. A sense of loss of connection to the natural environment is felt in this series.
